About Us
The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) has been established to act as the voice of the regions young people for the North East 14 - 19 Commission.
The YAB consists of a number of young people, which are from different parts of the North East, who are enthusiastic and want to have a say about issues that affect them! Our aim is to develop young person led projects that highlight young people's opinions and concerns about education, employment, training and information, advice and guidance.
The youth advisory board was developed after the 14-19 Agenda was implemented and our North East Commission wanted to know what young people think so they decided to set up a Youth Advisory Board in the North East. The North East 14-19 commission is made up of a group of important and influential adults in the region.
